"Homemade brass shim pinhole, mounted on a lens cap for my digital camera; the camera can trigger speedlites remotely, so I held the speedlight inches from the flower and fired it at full power. This technique, plus ISOs 800-1600, meant I shot at 1/250/sec even with the pinhole!"
