"No model available so resorted to the time-honoured self-portrait. I now exclusively use modern DSLRs (that cope well in low-light), but for my personal work I often edit images in Photoshop to imitate poor quality cameras and dodgey darkroom processing."
"I used an old Canon 40D with plastic body cap / aluminium pinhole and UV filter gaffer-taped on to prevent dust being sucked into the camera. The deliberate under-exposure, to produce noise, was for 2 seconds at ISO1600. Added Kodak TX 400ASA film grain and duo-toning in Photoshop."
