"Taken in the garden of the Arentshuis, Bruges. Luckily the sun shone - you might be able to see the cloudless sky. In the foreground is a shadow of one of the ‘Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse’ statues by Rik Poot. And a shadow of me and my pinhole camera (just visible) next to it."
"The camera was made from a small matchbox and two 35mm film re-loadable canisters: one on either side. The 200 ASA film was wound from one canister to the other through the matchbox using half a clothes peg to wind it on (when I remembered!). It was taped up light-tight with black electrical tape."
