pinhole photograph

"Oak Trees along the Laguna de Santa Rosa, which flows to the Russian River and eventually into the Pacific Ocean in Sonoma County, California. There were many hungry mosquitoes at this location! I ran back to the trail away from the water to wait for the 10 minute exposure."

camera"The camera is a black foamcore box with a sheet of 11x14 inch photo paper taped inside and a "focal length" of 6 inches. The pinhole was made in aluminum cut from a drink can. The camera was built the previous day and this is the first photograph made with it."
