Alasdair Gordon, "The Ruskin Mill Ghost"
Stroud, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom (member of Ruskin Mill Gallery group)
pinhole photograph

"For me, pinhole photography is closer to the film maker, painter or story-teller thereby expressing many moments over an extended time frame; capturing mobility of thoughts and feelings within with an ever-changing subject and light dynamic without. 10"x8" B&W paper in biscuit tin at 5.5mins exp."

camera"My camera was made from a 7" diameter biscuit tin with a 1.5mm pinhole in a black anodised aluminium foil. The curviture gives the photo a very dynamic perspective. Exposure time was 5 mins. in varying cloud and sun. the "ghost" was produced by standing 2 mins at the beginning and moving off."
