David Van Zandt, "Three Shelton Wood Piles"
Seattle, Washington, United States
pinhole photograph

"On a bright cloudy WPPD near Shelton, WA I found several large piles of wood in a clear-cut, waiting to be burned. I decided to use my wide 1:2 ratio medium format pinhole camera to get 3 piles at once. This was about an 8 - 10 second exposure."

camera"A 6cm x 12cm flat platen medium format camera I made several years ago. The internal shutter is tripped by pulling a brass knob on the outside. I've since added a holder in front of the pinhole for use with a ND or polarizing filter."
