"I thought this image would be mostly a wide angle tree photograph with the added bonus of the sun creating some interest. I had no idea that the flare would be so pronounced, becoming an equal subject in the composition."
"This is a 34mm f/170 camera. I attached a Graflok back to a thrift store box selected to be compatible with a .2mm pinhole. The 6x8 back is a Singer lever style. The exposure was 8 seconds with a red filter on Acros 100 at EI80 and tank processed in Ilford DD-X 1+4 for 10 minutes."
