Michael Zelinski, "Agua Pura"
Tempe, Arizona, United States
pinhole photograph

"People risk their lives by crossing the Arizona desert seeking economic and political refuge in the U.S.A. Often they can only carry one or two gallons of water for a hundred miles of desert. Humanitarian groups such as "No More Deaths" place water in the desert to reduce the migrant deaths."

"Photo taken on 4/24/2016 using a Nikon FM3A body with a 0.3mm pinhole body cap, f/167. Film is Ilford FP4-125, exposure was 3 seconds. Processed on Ilford Multigrade RC paper with Ilford PQ developer."
