pinhole photograph

"A spit of land that looks so peaceful now. Centuries ago it was inhabited by people. Two villages stood here but were washed away by the waves. Now only the traces of seaweed on a fence are visible. People can not get there anymore. We gave it to the birds who use it as a resting place."

camera"My camera is a homemade cardboard box. I use 4 x 5 inch sheet film. The box is exactly the right size for the film to fit in. For this image I used Fomapan 100 asa. I tied the camera to a fence with my Gorillapod. The exposuretime is two minutes. The size of the pinhole is 0,3 mm."
