
"One of Maine's longest rivers, the Androscoggin was near flood stage when I photographed it from a 1930s era bridge that connects the towns of Brunswick and Topsham. I was fascinated by the swirling white water and how it would appear in my pinhole photograph."
"I took the photo with my Holga pinhole camera mounted on a tripod, using Ilford 125 ASA film. I bracketed exposures ranging from 10 to more than 30 seconds. I made this darkroom print using one of my longer-exposed negatives."
