"This stump is behind my house. When I first moved in, the tree was still alive, and I would occasionally sit in its branches and enjoy a moment of solitude. Now that it's gone, I sit on the stump. Today was one of the first sunny warm days of spring, and so I photographed myself, enjoying this fact."


camera"I used Keli Anderson's This Book Is A Camera pop-up book pinhole camera for the shot. It was a two minute exposure, with the camera sitting on an old TV table. I used Ilford RC paper, pearl finish, developed in my home darkroom using Ilford chemistry."
