
"This photo was taken around the iconic Center of the Universe in Tulsa Oklahoma. I was trying to capture the juxtaposition of the city's architecture that is inevitably surrounded by some of the grit and grime of a city in the form of graffitied train cars."
"My camera was made out of a tin cylindrical tea container, which made for interesting distortion in my images. April 30th happened to be an overcast day, but I was able to expose my photo paper in about 35 seconds. The negatives were developed in a traditional dark room, and inverted in photoshop."
