"I wanted to celebrate the onset of spring and I like photographing cats exploring. I used a toy cat because of the relatively long exposure time."


camera"The camera is a Nikon D610 with a body cap with a whole drilled in it. I took several photos guessing the exposure times and picked the best. The camera was mounted on a tripod and put in bulb mode. I adjusted for contrast and then converted to monochrome."
