"Laundry on the line in my back garden. Not very compelling but it is the best image I have managed to take with the zone plate, and I have no idea why it came out better than the others. Exposure 1/25 second, camera sensitivity ISO 12800 (yes, high, to reduce exposure time)."
"Pentax K50 DSLR body with home-made 19-ring zone plate made using Ilford Pan-F 50 B&W film. Film taped to back of a piece of aluminium beer can with a 2mm hole drilled in it, in turn stuck to the back of a PK body cap with a larger hole. Image of camera and zone plate, blue ruler is 1mm gradation."
