"I LOVE springtime and the beauty it brings... While you can't see the bees (they move too fast!) you can see one of the hives in the background. This image was taken late afternoon, with an exposure of 60 seconds on a clear day under tall trees. The peonies, foxglove and bees co-exist quite nicely!"
"The camera was made from a salt box, which was disassembled and reassembled, with and aluminum pinhole mechanism. The photo paper, a pearl finish, grade 3 RC paper, was developed in the darkroom at school, scanned, inverted and flipped on the computer, & cropped down and digitally colorized."
