Duncan Waldron, "Brisbane Planetarium sundial"

pinhole photograph

"This is where I work and once again, I was working on WPPD. This is our giant sundial, which tells pretty good time. The building's curves are always tempting for a photographer with an eye for shape and form."

camera"A cheap point-and-shoot from the $2 bin in a charity shop. I opened it up, took the lens & shutter out, and put a pinhole in; everything else works, including the autowind. I made the pinhole to suit the hole-to-film distance: it's about 27 mm f140. 40 sec exposure on FP4+, developed in Caffenol."
