"This is my home, Greystone Hall, at Gainford in County Durham; it has belonged to my family since the 1750s. The main building dates from the 17th century. This is my first picture of it taken with a pinhole camera ,which, in this case, was the 6x9 monobloc (f135, focal length 25mm) built, from a spare piece of mahogany, by my friend James Lycett."
