"This is a pinhole photograph of a 3 inch plastic toy astronaut. I put him on top of a flat rock in a xeroscaped corner of the park to better simulate the look/feel of a desolate planet such as Mars. He's ready to plant the flag and claim that rock for NASA!"
"The camera was a quart sized paint can with a suggested exposure time of 10 seconds in full sun; however, in previous attempts I found that exposure wasn't long enough, so this photograph was exposed for 20 seconds in full sun. I used photographic paper and processed the print for 30 seconds."
