"Working on the water was difficult. Everything was moving. The water, boats bobbing around. I was looking for something solid to anchor the image and saw this mooring bollard with a patch of calm water behind."
"The image was made with a pre flashed paper negative rated at 6 ASA using a Kodak Specialist 5x7 camera with a 1mm (f143) hole punched in a bean-can lid taped to the front. Exposure was around 10 sec. Developer was diluted by 50% to retain some semblance of control..."
