"I had just come back from Gainesville, Florida where I saw a show of Fluxus art by John Cage, Alison Knowles, and Phillip Corner. One of the pieces on view was a mushroom that Cage had written on. I took the photo of some fungi growing on a log in my backyard as a tribute to Cage."


camera"The image was made with a Canon T4i using a lens made from a chocolate wrapper. The aperture was made with a needle. Three exposures were made and then stitched together in Photoshop. Exposure: 21 seconds at 400 ISO"
