"It is a mature silver birch tree that is in our garden, which is just coming into leaf. The pinhole body cap that I use, can give the sun a wonderful ragged and spectacular 'starburst' effect. I wanted to combine the life giving energy of the sun with the new growth of the and structure of the tree."
"I used a Canon EOS R camera body, with a pinhole body cap (0.3mm in diameter) on the Canon EOS to RF adaptor, it is equivalent to a 50mm lens. ISO 800 at 1/40th of a second, aperture about f180. The image was initially processed in Adobe Lightroom and then finished off in Nik Silver Efex Pro 2."
