pinhole photograph

"During the quarantine, the University of Washington campus has been empty. I decided I wanted to capture the emptiness by photographing the iconic balancing pillar, seeming almost alien in a foreign world, not surrounded by people."

camera"I shot this on a homemade camera, 3:30 exposure, on aristo ortho litho film. The film size is 5x7. The camera is a modified trash can with a laser cut shutter, and the wooden part on the right fits into to back of the trash basket, and film is held in by duct tape pockets."
