"When my wife's Grand Dad died, she wanted starts of the irises that he had always cared for in his own yard. Since then, Grand Dad's irises have taken up residence in multiple locations around our property, and bloom every year as a sweet reminder of the great man that he was."
"I took this image with my Nikon D7000, FS converted by Life Pixel. I used a LensBaby Pinhole (f/177) in a Scout with no bandwidth filter. I used electrical tape to cover light leaks. ISO100 at 1-second on a Bogen tripod this afternoon in the shade. I did some processing in Nikon NX-D."
