"These willow trees in my field, along the former Darlington to Barnard Castle railway, are old but are still very much alive! I felt that they could tell many stories about their lives....from the harsh winters they endured to the steam locomotives passing by."


camera"I used the 6x9 monobloc camera, made by my friend James Lycett. It has a Graflex 23 roll-film holder. The exposure time was 7 minutes, and I used Ilford FP4 processed in X-tol. The negative was then photographed with the iphone, and the final image was produced on the computer."
