Ronald Prusinski, "Down to the pond"
Plymouth, Indiana, United States
pinhole photograph

"This scene was reminiscent of my childhood, when we could go down to a creek fed pond to swim and fish. We brought home many boyhood treasures such as frogs, snails and turtles; only to have our mom's make us return them to the wilds."

camera"I restored this 1910 Seneca 4x5 view camera I inherited from my late uncles junk box. This shot was taken at f360 with an .018" (.457mm) pinhole. The exposure was 68 sec. with partly cloudy skies, using Arista EDU 200 ISO film and 50:1 Rodinal. Printed with a 1940's Kodak "autofocus" enlarger."
