"This Black Locust lumber from a local saw mill remains in our back yard after completion of our son's Eagle Scout project. It seems well suited for a 6x17 panoramic image. Perhaps not the most exciting subject, it nonetheless is quite meaningful for our family."


camera"1-min exp, Ilford FP4+, heavy overcast. I designed and built this 6x17 in 2020. It has a 60-deg horiz. field of view, and sliding shutter mount to allow positioning the horizon without distortion from bowing. I plan to veneer the camera once I sort out a few internal reflections."
