"I took a total of 62 shots of various subjects in our garden here in Wales before settling on this distinctive scarf against a bright blue sky. My wife, artist Sharon Hall Shipp, suggested using the scarf which she held in view of the camera. This is shot 63."
"A Nikon D5100 with a modified body cap. This has a small hole drilled in it, backed by silver foil with a pinhole in it. The cap is lined inside with black tape to reduce reflections from the foil. The exposure was only 15 seconds, other shots taken during the day were up to 25 seconds."
