"This photograph is a pinhole Polaroid emulsion transfer. The weather had been wonderful on the days preceding April 29. However, on April 29 we had torrential thunderstorms. This photo was taken from my balcony waiting to see if the rain would ever stop. It never did."
"The camera I used is a ShenHao 4x5 in field camera with a homemade 0.5 mm pinhole mounted in an early 1900 Kodak shutter. The pinhole to film distance used for this photo was about 85mm and the exposure time was about 32 sec at ISO 80."
