pinhole photograph

"The Palm Houses in Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Garden are magnificent examples of Victorian architecture and of the Victorians' quest for knowledge through the collection, propagation and display of all things. My quest was to record them with a simple tin can and direct positive paper!"

camera"'illy' coffee can, pinhole diameter 0.59mm punched directly about 4/5th up the side, projection distance 90mm so aperture f/153. Exposure was 26 sec on 'flashed' direct positive paper ISO 3."
