"This is my 3rd year participating in this event to commemorate my friend and photographer Gary Canaparo, also the maker of my pinhole camera. I always return to the Sierra Nevada of California for this day. It is a good excuse to slow down and photograph in a natural surrounding."
"My camera is a hand-made piece of art constructed by Gary Canaparo, photographer and artist who died in 2014. The pinhole aperture is about f/128. I shoot with Tri-X film, and this exposure was 2 mins. using an Orange filter. I processed film using Ilford DD-X developer."
