"I saw some beautiful flowers outside the gallery that held the photo project. I instantly thought of my mother and the upcoming Mother's day and wanted to give her the first pinhole photo I've ever made as a present."
"My camera was made from an old shoe box in an open workshop related to Oksasenkatu 11's exhibition "Potentials in the Dark: Kristian Jalava 20/4-29/4/2018". That was my first photo and workshop about the subject."
