"Photographed with a Canon 450D crop sensor digital camera fitted with homemade body cap pinhole. The body cap was modified to add a cut down plastic funnel which the pinhole was attached to. Using the funnel allowed the focal length to be reduced from 44.2mm to 35.6mm yielding a wider angle of view of approximately 41 degrees. A further benefit of the recessed pinhole is that the funnel acts like a lens hood. The pinhole itself is made from a piece of an aluminum Diet Coke can with a 0.25mm hole drilled into it with a #10 beading needle and sanded smooth, funnel and pinhole painted black.
