pinhole photograph

"Lincludden Abbey (built 1160 AD) from across the River Nith. The pinhole (although made with pin in a foil tray) is too large for this M4/3 sensor leading to poor image sharpness, but really highlights sensor dust. [Panasonic G5, ISO 1600, 1/50 sec]"

camera"Panasonic G5, ISO 1600, 1/50 second exposure. Pinhole made from a foil food tray taped over a lens adaptor. The lens adaptor is 23-24mm, giving an effective focal length of about 86mm (35mm equivalent). Pin diameter is 0.6mm (although the hole may be slightly bigger), giving an aperture of f72."
