Larry Bullis, "Channeled Scablands 1125.1.10"
Anacortes, Washington, United States
pinhole photograph

"The channeled scablands were produced by catastrophic flooding during the last ice age. I use an eccentric pinhole camera that does not permit me to see what the image contains. I must rely upon my understanding of perspective and intuition to frame the image. I like the challenge this provides."

camera"The camera has 5 holes, 4 of which are angled and eccentric, up, down, left and right. Velcro covers the unused holes. My finger is the shutter. It uses a 6x9 cm Horseman back and 120 film."
