"With the theme of nature in mind, I wanted to show an animal (rubber) co-existing with what one could consider garbage. The light was kind of unpredictable, so I tried my best to create a high contrast with the grass in the backround and the subject. For this I also used plastic and aluminum."
"It´s a 12x14x12cm cardboard pinhole box with a lid on top, painted all black and sealed with insulating tape to make sure no light entered anywhere. For the picture, I found a spot under the shadow of a large building, so I staged the props and exposed the photo-sensitive paper for 9 minutes."
