Paul Griffin, "Sojourner Truth"
Northampton, Massachusetts, United States
pinhole photograph

"This year I chose the statue of Sojourner Truth who was a freed slave and notable personality in American history. She was an African American woman who lived part of her life in Northampton MA and was active in the anti-slavery and woman's rights movement here in the 1850's."

camera"I used an Eight Banners camera. The exposure was around 10 seconds using Fomopan ISO 200 B&W film. It was developed in Rodinal. I made a DSLR copy of the negative and lightly processed it in Lightroom. Color was added using Photoshop's Colorize Neural Filter"
