"I chose this scene because I wanted to capture a wide-angle perspective, knowing that the pinhole’s natural distortion would give me this opportunity. As an urban photographer living and working in São Paulo, I am constantly inspired by the towering cityscapes and the dynamic pulse of everyday life!"
"This was the first pinhole camera I made: I used a small cardboard box, a needle to create the hole, a wooden pin to rewind the film, and black tape for the finishing touches. The film had 10 exposures, and in the end, 4 shots turned out well. Walking around the city, hoping at least one photo would work, was pretty nerve-wracking. The homemade development process made the whole experience even more incredible, turning every step into a true handmade journey"
