"Santa Marta is the first city established by the Spanish in Colombia. In 2025, commemorates 500 years since it was founded. It is located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada: a sacred land considered the heart of the world by its ancestral communities."
