"My children are interested in photography, and my daughter (age 8) chose the subject and took the photo for this year's submission. The subject is my son's hand-built analog clock, and I thought it was fitting to combine a pinhole style photo of an analog clock using a digital camera sensor."


camera"A modern DSLR (Canon 6D) with a body cap holding a homemade pinhole from a piece of an aluminum can. The hole was made with a needle attached to a rotary tool (Dremel) for the most precise and round hole possible; smoothed with an ultra fine rotary disk to reduce diffraction."
