"This is the pier, jutting out into the North Sea, at Saltburn on the north-east coast of England. It was beautiful weather on WPPD, and I thought the cast-iron pillars of the pier, at low tide, would make for an interesting picture""
"The picture was taken on my 6x6cm mahogany monobloc pinhole camera. It was made by my friend, Jim Lycett, who, sadly, passed away last year. Film was Fomapan 100, with an exposure of 30 seconds, which was developed in Rodinal 1+50 for 9 minutes"
