"The Streer-Peterson House was built circa 1885. The Streer family owned and lived in the house from 1918 to 1921. The house sat empty for many years until purchased by the Army Corps of Engineers in 1975. Finally, in 1986 it was moved to Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park."
