"I'd been wanting to experiment some more with my zone plate camera, and Rockledge Ranch Historic Site at Garden of the Gods, a kind of outdoor living history museum, seemed like the perfect place. The white chickens and people in light colored clothing caught my eye."
"The camera used to make this photograph is an old Zeiss Ikoflex twin lens reflex camera that was passed on to me from a family member. I replaced the lens elements with a 75mm f/65 zone plate. Tri-X film was exposed at either 1/10 or 1/25 sec and developed in Xtol developer, 1:1, for 9 minutes."
