"I enjoy the challenge of “being still” for a minute exposure. In this portrait, I was standing still rather than the usual meditative sitting. The camera bellows were set for wide angle and the camera was about 40 cm (16 inches) from my face, where I could easily reach the shutter."
"Exposure about 1 minute on TMAX 100 film, cloudy & dark under the trees. Film developed in my darkroom, negative scanned and processed in Lightroom. 6x7 original design pinhole camera with bellows and turret. Handcrafted for me by Nagaoka Woody in Tokyo (based on the Finney 4x5 camera design)"
