pinhole photograph

"Built in 1879 the Point Wilson Lighthouse is an historic landmark here in Port Townsend and is located at the Admiralty Inlet which connects the Straits of Juan de Fuca to the Puget Sound. We were hoping for a sunny day but here in the Pacific Northwest, the weather can surprise you."

camera"The Camera Obscura was made out of a 6' x 14' cargo trailer. A false wall was built inside for the opening. An adjustable iris diaphragm was used in the opening. A shelf was added above the iris to hold a camera. The image was captured with a Canon R5, 35-70mm f2.8 lens. 30 seconds @ f11, ISO 3200."
