"St Peters Church is an interesting subject for a pinhole camera and within walking distance making for a relaxing afternoon out. The towns first studio photographer Mr Robert Blackwell is buried here so I give some thought to his life 138 years ago whilst the exposure is made."
"A home made pinhole camera with a black tape shutter and 4 by 5 inch dark slides that once belonged to the late Douglas Jeffery, a fleet street press photographer. The exposure was made on Ilford paper for 3 minutes then developed at night in a darkened kitchen."
